School Philosophy

At Willow Park School we attempt to provide a pleasant and personal atmosphere within which our children can enjoy learning.  Also, an atmosphere within which parents, students and teachers can all feel comfortably a part of the school community.

Our staff strives to develop in each child:
1. a pride in achievement and a love of learning
2.  self-confidence, independence, responsibility and a sense of personal worth
3.  self-discipline and a respect for everyone.

School History

The school was built in two stages, the first in 1970 and the second in 1974.  The physical layout incorporates a unique circular design.  Some classrooms were originally the open type, but all rooms are now bounded by walls.

Willow Park School is part of the SEEDS Envioronmental Project and has achieved Bronze, Silver, Green, Jade, Emererald, and Earth School status.  Sutdents and staff continue to complete environmental projects.
